Families of all backgrounds, sizes and age ranges are welcome. Clubs connects kids to nature and their community. We have flexible meeting schedules for busy families. Clubs fosters life-long friendships and help families bond.

How Club Works

Clubs are led by adult volunteer teams who use national program materials to guide and mentor youth in small groups. As youth learn life skills by doing projects, taking on leadership roles and planning group activities, they take increasing control of their club's leadership. In this way, Camp Fire clubs help youth build self-esteem, learn life skills and become responsible citizens concerned about and active in their communities.

Youth Voice & Youth Choice

Youth learn how to make good choices by making choices, not by following directions. Clubs can provide wonderful contexts for youth to experience voice, control, and to practice decision making. In this way we are building youth motivation, promoting learning and self direction, and in the long term, improving our communities.

Welcoming & Inclusive

Statement of Inclusion: Camp Fire works to realize the dignity and worth of each individual and to eliminate human barriers based on all assumptions which prejudge individuals. Our program standards are designed and implemented to reduce sexual, racial, religious, and cultural stereotypes and to foster positive intercultural relationships. In Camp Fire, everyone is welcome.
